Psychological research has classfied six facial expressions which correspond to distinct universal emotions: disgust, sadness, happiness,fear,anger. Basic facial expressions of emotion are universal; Ekman and Friesen  reported that six (anger, happiness, fear, surprise, disgust and sadness) are readily.
